Sadananda Nayak serves the Sabha as its chairman. He is a senior Banker with more than 40 years of banking service and currently working with Punjab National Bank (International) Ltd in London. He moved to UK during 1998 with family. His wife Chitra and sons Sachin and Navin and daughter-in-law Shweta are active members of the sabha Jayanarayan Bhat (Jay)After years of serving the sabha in various roles, Jay has returned as the secretary of GSS UK. Since the late 90s Jay has seen the upturn in Sabha activities and feels very proud of the Sabha’s achievement. He lives in Edgware with his wife Sujatha. Their children, Nitin and Nanda also live in England. Konkani interest is very dear to Jay and Sujatha's heart and that is quite visible in their activities and enthusiasm. Dipak Rao serves as the treasurer of the Sabha. Dipak was born in East Africa and studied in Scindia School for 4 years before coming to the UK in 1965 for further education. He trained as an accountant and has been practicing with a chartered accountancy firm since 1975. He is married with two sons one a doctor in the UK and the other works for an ISP company in Toronto. He also serves as the treasurer to Saraswat Samaj UK, local residents’ association and a charity that raises funds for a private hospital run by catholic nuns. Dr.Vinod Gadiyar is a Consultant in anaesthesia and pain management working in Bury, Greater Manchester. He lives with his wife, Shalini, two children, Ashwin and Kiran and mother in law Sumitra Kamath. Vinod has served the GSSabha in various roles including joint secretary and chairperson. He passionately believes in GSSabha and actively participates in organising events. Ananth Pai also known as Andy is the membership secretary of the Sabha. He works as an IT professional. He lives in London with wife Smita and son Anay. Nimish Ubhayakar is the youth co-ordinator of the Sabha. He has graduated with Honours in Law from Brunel University and has just obtained a diploma in Modern Foreign Languages (French) from London School of Economics. He loves participating in Sabha activities and is dedicated to furthering the interests of all Konkani Saraswats. Gauri Shanbhag is currently serving the sabha as the Vani editor. She moved from Tokyo to London with her husband Sandeep Shanbhag and daughters Avani and Anuja 5 years ago . Since then the sabha has grown to be her extended family . She launched Bhakti in 2006 and endeavours to make it the platform to introduce the age old traditions and values of our culture to our budding GSB youngsters. She is steadily growing in the capacity of performing multiple roles in family , professional and social life with the sole vision of serving the society Sudeep Shenoy was born and Brought up in Mangalore and serves as Joint web master for the sabha. He is an IT engineer from NMAMIT, Nitte He works as a IT consultant here in UK. He is also the Uk correspondent for Radio Idli and strive to share saraswath talents with the world.He got recently married to Aparna Hegde who is a Finance Consultant. Sudeep has been an active member of the sabha for many years and takes a keen interest in all sabha activities. Shweta Nayak is an IT consultant with ThoughtWorks. She is the joint webmaster of the Sabha and manages website related activity. Originally from Bangalore, Shweta moved to the UK after marrying Sachin. Her family are active members of the Sabha.
